Let me tell you...I was kind of in a panic when LO's teacher sprung this whole Valentine's Day cards thing on us. I mean...They are 2.

Anyway, super cute but this Momma was so unprepared mostly for the concept of my precious son giving little girls valentines. Now that I am past that moment of mom meltdown - I stumbled upon this great site with cute options for printable valentine cards! We personally went with the Star Wars - currently a favorite around here for the "robots".

As a momma to the motherless I know the journey is real, it's tough, it's more than I thought it would be for better and for worse. With this I know that I have the deepest love and appreciation for those in my village of people. The ones who go a bit lose cannon with me, share moments of strength and wisdom far greater than my own and have renewed a deeper faith in me spiritually and as a human.

These are my people.

I am writing our experiences for you. For those moments when it. is. too. much.

For the moments when parenting these sweet babes is messy and beautiful all at once.

Knowing a sense of purpose and sharing it with each other has given us so much solace in this journey of foster care, adoption and special needs parenting. Having others to rely on to be the strong ones when we just cannot muster to be that person too has been our lifeline.

This blog is yours. This is for you and for us. Let's be each other's village, tribe, person...whomever we need to be and get this momma and grace thing down. And when we don't have it together; let's rejoice together that it too is okay. The journey itself is grace.
